Alrighties, this was a drawing that I drew looong ago as a companion piece to my fanfic "An Unexpected Coupling", but since painting for me takes SO damn long this is why it's only coming out now. ::evil glare::
Anywhos, Julianka is my OC, a friendly and pretty Ryukyu girl who aids Fuu, Mugen and Jin when they come for treatment. Her mother Narobi and her sister Kaelani play an important role as well, but I didn't feel like drawing them since they're not as fun.  Anyway, in this scene Fuu's completely positive that Mugen's resigned himself to dying, and Julianka's assuring her that he's a strong young man. When she leaves...well...let's just say that the climax of the story arrives. Poor Fuu. :*( |

Did you use MS Paint with this? If so, it looks pretty good for a crappy paint program as Microsoft Paint.
I've just recently gotten into art again, and just earlier this week been exposed to the handiness of Tablet and Photoshop. My interest was peaked so much that now I'm working on scrounging every last penny to buy them. I now sincerely suggest that you get a professional paint program (OpenCanvas, Corel, etc) that will maximize your options.
A Graphics Tablet (a kind of pen-on-flat-board device that is plugged in -usually- via USB) will assist you alongside the paint software(s). It makes things easier and a whole lot less messier -_-.. I say screw halfassed drawing with mouses!
I know programs like Photoshop is impossible to afford these days but.. I'm sure there are better (and cheaper) options out there other than Paint, as well as cheaper tablets available via ebay - probably around 100 US$ which (I found) is considered very, very cheap.
Whether you choose to take this advice or not-
